However, with the number of aspirants increasing every year, only students who are well prepared and have the ability to handle pressure have an edge to perform better in medical entrance exams. Medical entrance examinations are hard to crack. They require a lot of focus, deep analysis of theory and expert practical work. Amid all these, it is not surprising to feel nervous and under tremendous pressure. However, the key success mantra is to calm yourself as you prepare for your entrance exam. TIME TABLE We have outlined a time table to make exam preparation easy for you. At the same time, you can be assured of time management. If you are taking tuition or coaching to prepare for medical entrance exam, your preparation time schedule should be like this –  Study each subject for at least 2 hours every day. You have the flexibility to adjust the time as per your comfort. It is imperative to concentrate more on Biology, particularly on all the topics related to Botany, Zoology, Ecology, Biomolecules, Animalia and Plantae, Biotechnology, Biomedical Techniques and Physiology. AIPMT syllabus encompasses everything that you have studied in CBSE/ICSE Class XI and Class XII. For Physics, Kinematics, Laws of Motion Electro statistics, Magnetic effects of Current and Modern Physics are good chapters to study. Fundamental of Physics by David Halliday NCERT Biology Classes XI and XII Physiology and Biochemistry by Salisbury and Ross or Fritz and Noggle Trueman’s Biology Volume 1 and Volume 2 are also one of the best reference books for AIPMT. The All India Pre-Medical Examination (AIPMT) is usually held in April or May. Other state and institute level medical entrance examinations are conducted in the months of May and June. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS examination is generally conducted in the first week of June, while CMC Vellore’s MBBS entrance examination is held in the month of May. National level examinations are also conducted around May – June. The beginning of Class 11 is considered the best time to start preparing for medical entrance examination. This is because the syllabus is vast and preparing thoroughly for the exam needs time. WHERE TO PREPARE?
