  10. CNG Roundtable: CNG Users Tuesday, January 31st • Barriers • of • CNG: • Limited # of available public stations • Time it takes to access the few public stations currently available • Compressing stations need to correct pressure in order to fully fuel • High tank upfits and maintenance • High cost for upkeep of fueling station • Timely approval process for building stations • Unpredictable future codes on permitting process in NYC • Lack of tax credit for vehicles • Need CNG vehicles that are currently unavailable, i.e. M2 26,000 -CNG CNG Roundtable: Infrastructure Development Wednesday, February 22nd

  11. CNG Roundtable: CNG Users Tuesday, January 31st • Solutions • of • CNG: • Gather bold commitments for fuel use from operators • Increase education to public and elected officials • Split cost of fueling station between users and developers, where users agree to a small percentage increase for each GGE of CNG to offset infrastructure development costs. • Integrate upfitting costs into fuel price • Replicate NYS model for private operated refueling on publicly owned property/stations CNG Roundtable: Infrastructure Development Wednesday, February 22nd

  12. CNG Roundtable: CNG Users End User Survey Results • Conclusion: #1 barrier: lack of & reliability of existing CNG re-fueling CNG Roundtable: Infrastructure Development Wednesday, February 22nd
