  3. Packaging and Labeling • Package in sound and appropriate containers • Use 6 mil plastic under containers • Label with • Date collected • “Hazardous Waste” • Contents of container • Keep containers closed

  4. Storage • Tammy will address this specifically • Tom will show us how Goffstown does it

  5. Transportation • Use only registered haulers or haul to HHW event • Know DOT specifications • Work with your vendor • Labeling with • DOT hazard class • Date collected • Originator • Proper containers • Protection from spills • Bill of lading and manifest
