Solutions & Results Dr. Jane Lubchenco, Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator, testifying before the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. NOAA Administrator Dr. Jane Lubchenco conducted a live online video chat from the White House where she answered questions submitted by the public about seafood safety in the Gulf of Mexico following the Deepwater Horizon/BP oil spill. 2010 NOAA TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT

  3. Partnerships Local media partners attending the Baltimore-Washington forecast office's Annual Winter Weather Media Workshop. Co-Principal Investigators Steve Hammond (left) and Sugiarta Wirasantosa (right) are in Jakarta's Exploration Command Center welcoming those at sea onboard NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer to Indonesian waters. During the course of the expedition, telepresence technology brought live images from the ship to scientists ashore via satellite and high-speed Internet pathways. 2010 NOAA TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT
