It is considered a great material for constructing good quality roads that can sustain heavy traffic and offer excellent grip to the vehicles. It seals the tiny holes and forms a uniform layer that makes the surface smooth. What is a bitumen emulsion? Bitumen emulsion plant produces a wide variety of emulsified asphalt used for multiple industrial and household applications. The plant works round the clock, and the operations are made fully-automatic so that there is no manual intervention at all. What is there in a Bitumen emulsion plant? A typical Bitumen emulsion plant has following components: - A raw asphalt tank properly insulated and covered with aluminum sheets is the primary component. It is made from carbon and steel construction. Usually, there is a drive agitator powered by gears. - With the geared drive agitator, you find a soap preparation tank. - The colloid mill has gauges, heating jacket and recirculation system to make it complete. - Jacketed pipeline, high-quality instruments and valves that operate between battery limits. - Well mounted and well-fitted pumps with high-quality motors based on base frames. - Steel skid on which the complete plant is mounted. - Properly insulated and systematically laid down electric control panels. - Storage tanks for water and storage tank for a heating coil. - Asphalt pumps and heaters. - Laboratory testing equipment or heating unit for bitumen.
