How Does the SHaRED Tool Address These Problems • By providing • An intuitive, online tool for researcher data submission • Controlled, consistent metadata to describe submitted data • Semantic models • Concept alignment • Information templates • Builds on the existing ÆKOS data framework • Integrates with the ÆKOS repository and portal • Enables citation and encourages collaboration

SHaRED Data Submission Modes Types of Submitted Data Artefacts • Types of data artefact to be submitted are expected to include (but not be limited to): • Tabular data such as in spreadsheets or databases • Photos and scanned images • Diagrams, science papers, documents, and • Other explanatory artefacts.
