Operational Concept

  • Previous reverse flow operation changed with DFG Review
    • Fish Screen and other controls isolated with a transition pool
    • Fish Screen gravity flow isolated from pumping units
    • Reservoir supply and discharge at different levels
    • Three interchangeable stages; forebay, midbay; afterbay for flow transfer
    • Gravity inflows and outflows optimized with gated structures and pumping combinations
    • Required flow possible with smaller head differences
