  • Implementation of Homeland Security Initiatives, including the NRP (and the Annexes), NIMS, HSPDs

    • RRT input for NRT review of the NRP

    • Implementation of NIMS

    • Implementation of HSPD-5, HSPD-8 (Preparedness model, tech assistance, Training and Exercise coordination)

    • NRS role in HSPD-9

    • Development of and NRS role in incident-specific annexes (hazardous materials, radiological, biological)

    • Law enforcement-coordination with response and recovery (see below)

    • NIMS Institute

    • ICS/UC Implementation

    • Funding issues

    • NCP/RCP/ACP revisions for conformance with the NRP

  • NRT/RRT membership (e.g., DOD, DOJ, DHS)

    • State representation at RRT meetings

    • Travel costs

  • Appropriate representation (i.e., multiple State agencies with relevant interests/roles)

  • National Response Center review
