  1. Navigating Adventure • By: Maya Bailey • Hahaione Elementary • Mrs. Hasegawa 4th grade • Room F3A

  2. Navigating Change • The fourth graders from Hahaione Elementary School went to five excursions with Mr.Limtiaco. Mr Limtiaco is a member of the NOAA which stands for, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration program. The five excursions we went on were, the Bishop museum, Waikiki aquarium, Maritime museum, HIMB and Maunalua bay.

  3. The Conch Shell We are studying the conch how it works and how the Hawaiians used it. When they were lost at sea, they would blow the conch shell and if they heard another blow back, they would be communicating with other people. When we put our ears close the instrument, we could hear a little sound of the sea.

  4. What Next . . . • In the future, I know that most of the people will become pollutants so it is mine or people who care to keep the Earth clean. I will help other people to take of our planet. If other people can do that, they can travel around the world. • We have to make sure the pollutants won't rule our world, so, everybody should become Wumps! (so that the chief of the pollutants will not rule our world)!

  5. Last But Not Least! • NOAA is not just going on excursions but caring for our ocean. These excursions were to help care. (and it worked!)
