  3. Regional Program Outreach Efforts • Provide innovations/future improvements • Present research, products, and training at conferences • Expand on partnerships with customers

  4. Provide Regional Innovations • Accelerated release of estimates • New products produced • More data released • Research results released • Graphics and mapping provided

  5. Provide Future Improvements • Accelerating release of county personal income • Making GDP for metropolitan areas permanent

  6. Present Research, Products, Training at Conferences • Presentations • Current products • Research projects • Participation in Organizations • Special sessions • RIMS II training workshops

Expand Partnerships With Customers • All day workshops on BEA regional accounts • C2ER (ACCRA) and Washington State U. organized • BEA and guest speakers on the regional accounts • More active participation with select organizations • AUBER, NABE, PNREC, C2ER, Brookings • Teleconference with NABE on GDP for metro areas

Expand Partnerships—Cont. • BEA—PNREAP—University economic research bureau workshops • BEA provides overview of regional • PNREAP provides free computer-derived analytics of BEA regional data • University units discuss their value-added • Tailored products for the local communities • Forecasts—Outlook—Impact analyses

  10. Next Step • BEA sponsored day-long workshop • With Central Washington U./PNREAP and other university host
