  3. The answer is that it’s a memorial. But who is Dean Kathryn Barnett and what did she do to get a memorial?

  4. Her Accomplishments • Founded one of the first Ph. D programs for nursing in Texas • Founded the School of Nursing at AUM as well as the Nursing Care Center • Served as the Dean for 17 years • Created a partnership with Montgomery Art Guild for an Nightingale Art Show at AUM • And in her spare time helped to build the framework for the therapeutic touch What was her reward for all this?
