  2. We can use two subject pronouns together or a subject pronoun with a noun • For example, you and someone else usu. means “we” • We would then use the nosotros form of the verb.

  3. María y yo = we (nosotros) • use the (nosotros) form of the verb • María y yo (bailar) • María y yo bailamos.

  4. We may also use compound subjects to mean “they” or “you” (plural). • Tomas y Juan = they or ellos • Ana y tú - you (pl.) or Uds. • Use the “ellos”or “you” (pl.) form of the verb for these compound subjects.

  5. Tomás y Juan (estudiar) • “Tomás y Juan” is like saying they. (use the they form) • Tomás y Juan estudian.

  6. Felipe y yo (cantar) • cantamos • Marta y yo (hablar) • hablamos • Pepe y Raúl (estudiar) • estudian • Tú y Lucía (trabajar) • trabajan
