IT Professional Examination Council Founded in 2005, ITPEC coordinates all the efforts of member countries in the implementation of IT Engineers Skill Standards(ITSS) and IT Engineers Examinations(ITEE) in Asia In Thailand, exams are organised by NECTEC The goal of ITPEC is to promote mutual recognition of the skill standards among member countries, and to ensure the cross boarder utilization of human resources 2

  4. เป้าหมายของภาควิชาวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์เป้าหมายของภาควิชาวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ ให้นักศึกษา CoEชั้นปีที่ 3 ขึ้นไป เน้นปี 4 สมัครสอบ FE หรือ IPและเตรียมตัวสอบ จัดเป็นศูนย์สอบในภาคใต้ ที่ ม.อ. หาดใหญ่ และ ม.อ. ภูเก็ต(ต้องมีจำนวนผู้สมัครสอบพอสมควร) แนะนำการเตรียมตัวก่อนสอบ, ให้ยืมหนังสือ/เอกสารเตรียมสอบ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้สอบผ่านให้ได้มากที่สุด 4

  5. ประโยชน์ของการสอบ FE สำหรับผู้สอบ (นศ.หรือผู้จบใหม่) ได้ทดสอบความรู้ ความสามารถด้าน IT ด้วยข้อสอบที่เป็นมาตรฐาน ได้ประมวลความรู้ทั้งหมดในหลาย ๆ ด้านก่อนจบการศึกษา (หรือหลังจบ) ผู้ที่สอบผ่านจะได้ประกาศนียบัตร(certificate) ซึ่งเป็นที่ยอมรับในกลุ่มประเทศ ITPECและสามารถใช้อ้างอิงเพื่อรับรองความรู้ความสามารถได้ ในการสมัครและเลือกคนเข้าทำงาน การมี Cert.เป็นข้อเด่นข้อหนึ่งที่ทำให้ได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษจากบริษัทชั้นนำ เช่น PTT,True Corps.,และบริษัทร่วมทุนของญี่ปุ่นในไทย สำหรับบุคลากรด้าน ITการสอบผ่าน ได้ certificateเป็นการพัฒนาตัวเองและยกระดับความรู้และทักษะ สามารถใช้เป็นเกณฑ์ประกอบการปรับตำแหน่งหรือเพิ่มค่าตอบแทน (แล้วแต่นโยบายและวิสัยทัศน์ของแต่ละบริษัทบางบริษัทอาจมีรางวัลให้หรือค่าตอบแทน) 5

  6. การสอบ FE (Fundamental Exam) และ IP • จัดสอบปีละ 2 ครั้ง • Spring ช่วงเดือนเมษายน (อาทิตย์ 27 มี.ค. 54) • Autumn ช่วงเดือนตุลาคม (อาทิตย์ 23 ต.ค. 54) • การสมัครสอบผ่านระบบออนไลน์ • Online application www.nstdaacademy.com/itpe • เลือกสถานที่สอบ(กรุงเทพฯหรือส่วนภูมิภาค–ม.อ.หาดใหญ่/ภูเก็ต) • ค่าสมัครสอบ 1,000 บาท • นศ.ป.ตรี ม.อ. 300 บาท / นร.-นศ. ป.ตรี ทั่วไป 500 บาท • นศ. ป.โท-เอก ม.อ. และ บุคลากร ม.อ. 800 บาท • สมัครออนไลน์ภายในวันที่ 7ต.ค. 54 • ยื่นใบสมัครพร้อมจ่ายเงินที่ภาคฯ ภายในวันที่ 10 ตุลาคม 54 6

  11. รูปแบบการสอบ FE • สอบข้อเขียน มี 2 ส่วน (มีทั้ง version ไทยและอังกฤษ ) • ข้อสอบช่วงเช้า (Morning exam/ AM exam) • Multiple-choice 80 ข้อ เวลา 150 นาที • ข้อสอบช่วงบ่าย (Afternoon exam/ PM exam) • เติมคำตอบ + Multiple-choice 6-8 ข้อใหญ่ • เวลา 150 นาที • สอบผ่าน (ได้รับ Certificate) ก็ต่อเมื่อ • ได้คะแนนของข้อสอบเช้า 60% ขึ้นไป • และ ได้คะแนนของข้อสอบบ่าย 60% ขึ้นไป 11

  13. IT Passport Exam หรือ IP • 165 minutes • 100 multiple-choice questions • Strategy about 35 questions • IT Management about 25 questions • Technology about 40 questions • Passing score: • not less than 55% in total • with over 30% in each of the 3 domains 13

Exam Scope • Strategy(35%) • Fundamental knowledge, terminology and necessary concepts to analyze computerization and corporate activities e.g. business strategy, management methodology, management strategy, etc. • Management(25%) • Basic knowledge and features about IT management such as system development, project management, etc. • Technology(40%) • Basic technical knowledge about IT such as computer system, software, database, multimedia, internet, network, security, etc. 14
