  2. Hi! I’m Hexaman! I’m a SHAPE called a HEXAGON! I have SIX Sides.

  4. Can you see me?

  5. I like to spend time with other hexagons.

  6. We like to cuddle. We fit ourselves together! Look! There are no spaces in between us!

  7. There are lots of hexagons in nature. Can you see me?

  8. Here I am with some of my friends! …and some bees.

  9. People like to use hexagons for things like floors because we fit together so nicely.

  10. …That’s why bees and wasps like us, too! bzzzzz…. Can you see me?

  11. Sometimes, pencils are hexagons!I wonder why.

  12. Round pencils might roll away… …or be harder to hold.

  13. Pencils are made from graphite, which is a mineral. When you look at it under a microscope…

  14. You find hexagons!

  15. Here is graphite in nature… …do you think it looks like these pencils?
