  2. Introduction CONTENTS The Aztecs lived in Mexico [1325-1525],at the same time the Tudors were living in England. The Aztecs were powerful and warlike group people.   3. Mictlantecuyli • He was the god of the dead. His head was a HUMAN skull! whenever some-one died, they blamed him. Tlaloc Tlaloc was the god god of rain and food. He was half man half alligator. He made the crops grow. Whenever he was sad, he cried and it rained. Back to contents

  4. Ranks • There were many ranks. The lowest rank was basically just carrying stuff. The highest rank was the eagle warrior and the jaguar warrior. All the ranks had to march 19-32km,12-20miles,. Back to contents

  5. Warriors • The best warriors were the EAGLE and JAGUAR warriors. The EAGLE warrior was the best of the best. It wore an eagle headdress and was dressed like an eagle. The Jaguar warrior warrior had a jaguar headdress and was dressed like a jaguar. contents

  6. Tenochtitlan • Tenochtitlan is the biggest AZTEC city EVER! It had population up to 100 million people. HUITZILEPOCHTLI led them to Tenochtitlan. There sign to go there was an eagle on a cactus, on a rock with a snake in it’s mouth. contents
