  1. Omstar International de CR Beneficial Effects of Fuel Conditioner B-15 X for industrial Boilers January 11, 2006

  2. Steam is widely used for heating, to dry paste, evaporate chemical dissolution, warming purposes, to move turbines and pumps, as well as other processes in the industrial field. Steam is used because there is a need for producing heat and energy at the same time, and steam is the best and most economic way of transporting quantities of heat and energy. Steam is easy to produce since it is obtained from water. Generally you would require a large recipient to produce steam for industrial volumes, this recipient is called a boiler or a steam generator. The combustion or burning of common fuels that contain carbon and hydrogen ( ie: fuel oil, gas, coal, and the bio mass) require a reaction of carbon and hydrogen with oxygen in order to produce carbon dioxide and steam from water, and the liberation of chemical energy inter links in the form of light and heat. History of Boilers

  3. The Cleaning Effect of B - 15 X This picture was taken from a burner of a 250 HP Cleaver Brooks boiler 18 months after cleaning. The bunker used in this boiler was treated with B-15 X fuel conditioner Notice the dramatic cleaning effect.

  4. B-15 X reduces ash The amount of carbon powder content was minimal since the last cleaning 18 months earlier. The reduction of carbon build up increases the efficiency of the Boiler, and improves the transfer of heat

  5. Cobesa plant before and after using- B-15X Before B-15 X Observe carbon powder in the back of the boiler and pipe lines. After B-15X 5 months after using B-15 X There is less carbon buildup and the back of the boiler is substantially cleaner.

  6. Before and after using B-15X at Cobesa boiler Before B-15X The yellow build up is due to the high sulfur content in the fuel. Notice the carbon build up After B-15X The yellow build up is lowered and there is less carbon build up. Less carbon buildup improves the transfer of heat though the pipes

  7. Combsution Chamber Cobesa Boiler. Before B-15 X Observe the bunker encrustation around the burner After B-15X The bunker encrustation around the burner is no longer observed. There is less carbon and the combustion canon is cleaner

  8. Pasta Roma Boiler • This picture was taken of the fire chamber in March 2005. Observe the cleaning process (This boiler has been using B-15 X for one year) • This picture was taken inAugust 2005. The ash is very dry and the fire chamber is cleaner

  9. Pastas Roma Boiler • This picture was taken on March 2005. Observe yellow spots of sulfur as well as carbon build up around the tube walls • This Picture was taken on August 2005. The yellow spot disappeared and the tubes are cleaner

  10. Pastas Roma Boiler • March 2005 Notice the peeling effect around the cannon and the bunker incrustation in the burner. • August 2005. The peeling effect is decreasing. There is no further bunker incrustation on the burner

  11. Final Report For Pipasa Issued By Company Boiler Inspector • San José, 15 marzo 2005 • PARA: Corp. PIPASA • AS.: Informe final prueba del aditivo para búnker PetroChem 15 X. • DE. Ing. Mauricio Pacheco Molina

  12. My Translated Version of the previous page • San jOse, 15 March 2005 • FOR: Corp. PIPASA • AS: Closing report test of the additive to búnker PetroChem 15 X.s OF. Ing. Mauricio Pacheco • Dear Sirs: • After a long period of test with the additive, according to the last recommendation, taking You the indicator of tons of product by liter of búnker and comparing with the last year and after the last swept opening of of the boiler, concludes the following thing: • The additive has diminished the formation of soot deposits. Such they are drier and fine. One discards that the additive attacks the refractory one, because there is no evidence of increase in the existing wearing downs of such. Which has noticed which the boiler can be operated with really low oxygen levels without increasing the emission of ashes, favors the energy efficiency still more and could favor in the NOX reduction. • With the additive one has noticed that the variations in the quality of búnker as they are the changes of viscosity do not affect the parameters of combustion like in the cases so strongly that are not used additive. • According to numbers done in the last meeting it was spoken of 8,78% of fuel saving. This gave to pay itself the additive used in 1:1000 relation and produced near $400 per month of gain. For these reasons and knowing that once the additive is used of continuous way, having allowed still more to sharpen the combustion and by the long term benefits to maintain the system of búnker cleaner, his components, the burner and the boiler in himself, his servant concludes: The USE OF THIS ADDITIVE OF CONTINUOUS WAY IS RECOMMENDABLE And IN ALL The BOILERS OF The CORPORATION. • Immediately on the matter, kindly Ing. Mauricio Pacheco Molina

  14. Conclusion Pictures reveal the use of B 15 X lowered carbon build up and increases the efficiency of the boiler. The straight chain ester content keeps the nozzles clean and free of clogging. It also prolongs combustion. After carefully reviewing the results of liters of bunker versus tons of production compared to the baseline there was a reduction in fuel consumption of 10% The Nox, Co, Co2 and particulates were also reduced after the use of B-15 X THE LOGICAL CHOICE FOR GREATER BOILER EFFICIENCY IS B-15 X
