Alfa Chemistry Materials Offers Battery Materials to Produce Organic and Printed Electronics The demand for battery materials with higher energy/power and improved safety is increasing, especially for the burgeoning markets in the energy & environmental industry. On February 9, 2020, Alfa Chemistry Materials, a provider of wide ranges of materials and chemicals, announced to supply battery materials, which can be used to produce organic and printed electronics or for research use. Currently, breakthroughs in materials design and engineering are urgently needed to meet the demands. Battery materials refer to those materials that can make up the battery. The properties of battery materials decide the performances of batteries and the selection of battery materials significantly depends on open circuit voltage (OCV) of the cell. In general, battery materials can be widely used in the manufacturing of computer, communication and consumer electronic products, battery electric vehicles, and energy storage devices. “Advances in battery technology have made it possible not only to produce wearable medical devices and portable electronics, but also to electric vehicles and grid-scale energy storage.
