Main Characters • Aragorn is a ranger that was raised by elves and he was also heir to the throne of Gondor • Gimli is a dwarf who becomes friends with Aragorn and Legolas • Legolas is a elf lord that becomes friends with Aragorn and Gimli • Frodo is a hobbit who is on a quest to destroy an evil ring in the fiery pit of Mt Doom. His friend Sam is with him on his journey • Sam is a hobbit who comes with Frodo to destroy the ring

Story Line • The Two Towers is the second book in the Lord of the Rings series. • The story takes place in Middle Earth in the land of Gondor, Rohanand Mordor • Frodo runs away from the fellowship but Sam gets into the boat with him and they travel together. • The rest of the fellowship goes to save Merry and Pippen from a gang of Orcs. • The solution to the conflict doesn’t turn up until book three.

Extra Information • The book has 448 Pages • This book has a lot of characters such as Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Humans, Ents (giant talking tree creatures) and a giant spider who tries to kill Sam and Frodo. • This book ends with a cliffhanger because you think Frodo is dead but at the end he gets taken prisoner by the Orcs and Sam finds out he is not dead.
