  3. Spelling & Phonics • Word Problems using our spelling words. • Example ~ One penny plus two pennies equals three pennies. • Write three word problems using your spelling words.

  5. Grammar • Sometimes you can give readers a better picture by adding words to subjects and predicates. Example The can ran. The scared cat ran under the porch. Now what sentence would you like to read. Which sentence shows a better picture in your head.

  6. What About Me? • Read together Pages 54 – 60

  7. Centers • Student Response on page 58 Imagine that a friend has asked you what is What About Me about? In 4 or 5 sentences provide a summary of the story. Use the story sequence chart to help you. • Reader Response go over together.
