  10. AMgIkwru Ehu kry qyrw kwrj siB svwrxw ] angeekaar ohho kare teraa, kaaraj sabh savaarnaa He will accept You as His own, and all your affairs will be perfectly arranged.

  19. swcu nwmu ADwru myrw ijin BuKw siB gvweIAw ] saach naam adhaar meraa, jin bhukhaa sabh gavaaeeaa The True Name is my only support; it satisfies all hunger.

  20. kir sWiq suK min Awie visAw ijin ieCw siB pujweIAw ] kar saant sukh man aae vasiyaa, jin ichhaa sabh pujaaeeaa It has brought peace and tranquillity to my mind; it has fulfilled all my desires.

  21. sdw kurbwxu kIqw gurU ivthu ijs dIAw eyih vifAweIAw ] sadaa kurbaan keetaa guroo vitho, jis deeaa ehhe vaddiyaaeeaa I am forever a sacrifice to the Guru, who possesses such glorious greatness.

  25. Gir sBwgY sbd vwjy klw ijqu Gir DwrIAw ] ghar sabhaagai shabad vaaje, kalaa jitghar dhaareeaa In that blessed house, the Shabad vibrates; He infuses His almighty power into it.

  26. pMc dUq quDu vis kIqy kwlu kMtku mwirAw ] panch doottudh vas keete, kaal kanttak maariyaa Through You, we subdue the five demons of desire, and slay Death, the torturer.

  27. Duir krim pwieAw quDu ijn kau is nwim hir kY lwgy ] dhur karam paaeyiaa tudh jin ko, se naam har kai laage Those who have such pre-ordained destiny are attached to the Lord's Name.

  32. sMq swjn Bey srsy pUry gur qy jwxI ] sant saajan bheye sarse, poore gur te jaanee The Saints and their friends are in ecstasy, knowing the Perfect Guru.

  33. suxqy punIq khqy pivqu siqguru rihAw BrpUry ] sunte puneet kehete pavit, satgur rehiyaa bharpoore Pure are the listeners, and pure are the speakers; the True Guru is all-pervading and permeating.

  38. cMigAweIAw buirAweIAw vwcY Drmu hdUir ] changiaaeeaa bariaaeeaa vaachai dharam hadoor Good deeds and bad deeds-the record is read out in the Presence of the Lord of Dharma.

  39. krmI Awpo AwpxI ky nyVY ky dUir ] karmee aapo aapnee ke nerrai ke door According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away.

  40. ijnI nwmu iDAwieAw gey mskiq Gwil ] jinee naam dhiaaeiaa geye masakat ghaal Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows

  41. nwnk qy muK aujly kyqI CutI nwil ]1] naanak te mukh ujle ketee chhuttee naal.1. -O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord, and many are saved along with them! ||1||

  42. too taakur tum pehe ardaas. jee-o pindd sabh teree raas. You are our Lord and Master; to You, I offer this prayer. This body and soul are all Your property. tum maat pitaa ham baarik tere. tumree kripaa meh sookh ghaney-re. You are our mother and father; we are Your children. In Your Grace, there are so many joys! ko-e naa jaanai tumraa ant. ooche te oochaa bhagvant. No one knows Your limits. O Highest of the High, Most Generous God, sagal samagree tumrai sootr dhaaree. tum te ho-e so aagi-aa-kaaree. The whole creation is strung on Your thread. That which has come from You is under Your Command. tumree gat mittum hee jaanee. naanak daas sadaa kurbaanee You alone know Your state and extent. Nanak, Your slave, is forever a sacrifice. ||8||4|| (Ang 268, SGGS)

  43. There is one God. All Victory belongs to God. May the Divine Sword (dynamic power of God) help us. The Vaar (poetic verse) of Sri Bhagauti, composed by the tenth king. ardaas.ik-onkaar, vaaheguroo jee kee fateh.siree bhagautee jee s-haa-e. vaar siree bhagautee jee kee paat-shaa-hee dasvee.

  44. First meditate upon the respected Lord and think about Guru Nanak Ji. Then meditate on Guru Angad Ji, Guru Amar Das Ji and Guru Ram Daas Ji – may they help us everywhere. pritam bhagautee simar kai, guroo naanak le-ee dhi-aa-e.fir angad gur, te amar daas, raam daa-sai ho-ee s-haa-e.

  45. Then call on Arjan, and Har Gobind, holy Har Rai and on Har Krishan, whose sight dispels all sorrows. arjan, har-gobind no, simro siree har raa-e. siree har-krishan dhi-aa-ee-e jis dit-tai sabh dukh jaa-e.

  46. Then remember Teg Bahadur by whose remembrance the nine treasures come hurrying to ones home. Be ever with us O Masters. teg bahaadar sim-ree-ai, ghar nau nidh aavai dhaa-e. sabhthaa-ee ho-e s-haa-e.

  47. May the tenth king, Guru Gobind Singh be ever on our side. dasvaa(n) paat-shaah, siree guroo gobind singh saahib jee! sabhthaa-ee ho-e s-haa-e.

  48. Let us now turn our thoughts to the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, the visible embodiment of the ten Gurus and utter, O Khalsa Ji, Vaheguru (glory be to God). dasaa(n) paat-shaa-hee-aan dee jot siree guroo granth saahib jee de paat didaar daa dhi-aan dhar ke, bolo Ji vaaheguroo!

  49. The five Beloved Ones, the four Sahibzaade (sons of the tenth Master), the forty emancipated ones, the martyrs, remember those who remained strong in suffering, always remembered God, those who gave up worldly pleasures and those who worshipped on the Name of the Lord. panjaa(n) pi-aa-ri-aa(n), chau-haa(n) saahib-zaadi-aa(n), chaalee-aa(n) mukti-aa(n), hat-tee-aa(n), jap-ee-aa(n), tap-ee-aa(n), jin-aa(n) ne naam japi-aa,

  50. Those who shared food with others, fed the hungry, protected the weak with sword, and saw other’s faults but overlooked them. remember the deeds of those pure and true devotees and utter O Khalsa Ji, Vaheguru. vand shaki-aa, degh chalaa-ee, tegh vaa-hee, dekh ke ann-ditt keetaa; tin-aa pi-aa-ri-aa(n), sachi-aa-ri-aa(n) dee kamaa-ee daa dhi-aan dhar ke, khaalsa jee! bolo jee vaaheguroo!
