  1. Purging Messages from IMAP folders from Outlook

  2. Select the IMAP Mailbox (Folder) you want to manage

  3. Note: in this example we will purge Holding-SPAMWarningHigh Mailbox

  4. Edit | Select All Click on one of the message and then select all by either Edit | Select All …. or…

  5. Edit | Select All … or… try “Ctrl” + the letter “A”… or… try Right Click | Select All?Which is the best way to select All?The way YOU do it 

  6. All the Messages are now Selected (highlighted)

  7. Notice the deleted messages have a line through them

  8. Note: Deleted Messages are NOT Purged from the system

  9. Edit | Undelete In fact…, you can “Undelete” messages that haven’t been purged

  10. Edit | Purge Deleted Messages To Purge ‘Deleted Messages’ select “Purge Deleted Messages”

  11. All the messages are now Purged from the Server
