  4. LRO returns to the MoonLaunches October 28, 2008 Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter will be in a polar orbit, imaging potential landing sites and searching for deposits of water ice, ilmenite and olivine.

  5. The Moon:Our Next Frontier (Again) • The Moon will be the “next step” in getting humans to Mars. • Ilmenite contains He-3 and represents a potential “gold rush” for nations.
