  2. LO: • ALL – To be able to start to create a Spread sheet for a purpose. • Most – To be able to start to create a Spread sheet for a purpose with use of suitable formulas.

  3. Task • Please open up the CAB from the students resources • \\ktc-svr05\studentres$\IT\KS4\ICTGCSE2012\CABUnit20512\activity2_introduction.html • Read activity 2 section (Event Model and Developing the Model) • Discuss the Spread sheet task

  4. Progress check: • Confidence of a concept using the 1-10 self assessment method • 10 – let me at it! • 5 – Semi confident • 1 – what is a CAB? • From 1 – 10 think about how confident you are with the task

Task You must create a spread sheet that would be suitable for the Community spirit events: You will gather information and costs for the event, including: food and drink • attractions and activities • additional costs such as equipment purchase/hire • freebies • advertising. You will also include income from: • entry fees to the event • food and drink sales • attractions and activities • hire of pitches by charities.
