  2. The Reader • Intense sexual involvement with older women • Was Michael Berg sexually abused or “Just Lucky” • Post- WWII Germany: Nearly a decade after his affair with an older woman came to a mysterious end, law student Michael Berg re-encounters his former lover as she defends herself in a war-crime trail. • Drama , Romance • Sexual involvement with older, abused or lucky. • Audience : Older Couples , very mature romantic teenagers. • Rating; R with a common sense rating of iffy for 17+

  3. Rent • Bohemians face true love, broken hearts, drug addiction, AIDS and Paying rent. • PG-13, Iffy for 14+ • Dressing as a different gender, AIDS, love , mentions BDSM for Atypical sexual behaviors, homosexual, death, Bondage, Family. • Audience: Older teenagers depends on their maturity, older couples, • Very sad movie but good ending. • My favorite quote “you should try it in heels” tango Maureen.

  4. Juno • Back of DVD according to Netflix: “Facing an unplanned pregnancy while she’s still in high school, quirky teen Juno MacGuff(Ellen Page) devises a plan to locate her unborn baby’s perfect adoptive parents. But the seemingly ideal couple Juno chooses still has some growing up to do. Michael Cera co stars in this offbeat coming of age comedy with an Oscar-winning original screenplay peened by Diabolo Cody. • Rated Pg-13. • Themes: unplanned teenage pregnancy, pro-life and pro-choice, feminists, failure of using contraception . • Audience: 13 year olds with family, families with older kids, • My reaction and thoughts about Juno: I think that parents should explain to their kids while watching this : that this is a comedy and is not to be taken seriously but that being pregnant and being a parent is work.
