What is CMS?An easy to use system that … • Allows a witness to easily REPORT their UFO Sighting to MUFON via the Internet • A REPOSITORYfor sighting reports, investigation reports, and any audio, video, photo, drawings, sketches or other files related to a case. • As an INVESTIGATORgives you the ability to manage your cases and attach your investigation report and associated documentation and files directly to the sighting report so that everything is available in one place. • Allows you as a State or National Director to MANAGE your organization and the investigative process including assigning a Field Investigator (FI) to a case and easily following up on the status of each case. • Provides an Easy way to SEARCH the MUFON CMS database for other sightings of a similar or different nature as you wish.

  6. What we need YOU to-do!!! • USE CMS!!!! TRAIN Your Organization to USE IT!!! • Go into CMS and Update your organization and the e-mails for the people in your organization • OWN your data. Review all sighting reports for your State and update and close those you can (put them in status codes - IFO, Hoax, or Unknown) • Assign all sighting reports not in one of the three status’s above, to an investigator AND INVESTIGATE! • Enter your Old WUFOD investigation reports into CMS • Enter Old reports never reported to MUFON into CMS • Make CMS your Website’s ONLY UFO Reporting vehicle
