(Natural Rights) New Jersey Plan--Equal- (Current Senate) Advantages: Protects the rights of minorities. Disadvantages--When there are genuine disagreements on issues, this method seems less fair. 4 Major Differences One: Representation

  3. Virginia Plan-- Advantage. Checks and Balances. (harder to slide things through quickly that could create harms) Disadvantage: Nothing ever gets Done. New Jersey Plan-- Advantage: More Efficient. Disadvantage: Less Deliberative Two: 2 House vs 1 house Legislature

Puts the peoples’ will above the law New Jersey Plan—Executive appointments Advantage. Protects the rights of the minority interest. Disadvantage: Too much power given to the executive.
