Media Trek Overview

  • The EMC Los Angeles and New York Media Treks are 2-3 day trips to the media and entertainment centers of the world

  • Trip guests will visit about 9 local entertainment companies to listen to top entertainment executives discuss:

    • the future of media,

    • the developments and business strategies of specific companies,

    • how business functions relate to the entertainment industry (e.g. responsibilities in marketing, finance, production, etc), and

    • how to be successful as a business person in entertainment

The Goals of the Treks

  • Increase the visibility of Kellogg to the entertainment and media communities in Los Angeles and New York

  • Learn about the industry environments (info gathering)

  • Establish corporate/alumni contacts for students interested in working in those areas (networking)

  • Meet with local Kellogg alumni

  • Have a great time with other Entertainment-focused Kelloggians!
