  3. CLOTHES SNACK NAMETAG BOOKBAG HYGIENE SEPARATION CHORES LET THEM OR MAKE THEM DO WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR THEMSELVES INDEPENDENCE = Builds confidence

  4. WITH THE EDUCATIONAL TEAM (TEACHER, BUS DRIVER, COUNSELOR, PRINCIPAL, ETC. DIVORCE, ILLNESS, DEATH, MOVES, CRIME, ETC. WITH YOUR CHILD ASK QUESTIONS (NOT YES OR NO!) LIFE STORIES LESSONS FROM MISTAKES BE WILLING TO APOLOGIZE INCLUDE IN FAMILY DECISIONS COMMUNICATION

SECURITY • CONSISTENCY IS KEY. • BEING ON TIME • HAVING WHAT THEY NEED • REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS ( HAVE THEIR ATTENTION & REPEAT BACK) • DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO! • DON’T DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU AREN’T GOING TO DO! • IN OTHER WORDS, FOLLOW THROUGH WITH REWARDS AND CONSEQUENCES. • REMEMBER…………..THEY NEED A PARENT, NOT A FRIEND!

  6. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!! WE DO! Praise whatever you want to see increase. It is always easier to point out what they are doing wrong or correct them but train YOURSELF to catch them being good! They’ll feel good and so will you!
