Do not provide air traffic control if you are not safe! Although a few different acronyms happen to circulate in the ATC community, the Dutch has adopted the ASSIST sequence which is also promoted by Eurocontrol. The IMSAFE originates with many thanks from the, I believe, New Zealand aviation community. For ATC use I amended a few lines so the acronym also serves a purpose for the air traffic control community. Al Dutch ATC ab initio’s receive this card during the first weeks of training as part of human factors lessons. When training unusual events and emergencies the assist acronym is explained in further detail. Specification for production: Double sided, creditcard size, plastified. Cut as such that a small white frame remains. (± 1,5 mm)
