Participating Private Nonprofit Allocation Calculation: • Title I, Part A - Based on: • The total public and private resident low- income pupils for eligible Title I schools • Private Nonprofit (PNP) within or outside of the district • Title II, Part A, D and Title V - Based on: • The total district enrollment and total enrollment of PNPs located within the district

  3. Private Schools Additional Allocation In addition to their regular Title I, Part A allocation, if a district has any of the following set-asides, a PNP receives an equitable share of: • Salary & Fringe benefit differentials • Additional professional development, except for set-aside for districts identified for improvement • Parent involvement amount not included in school allocation • District-level instructional programs

  4. Private Nonprofit Carryover • LEA and PNP agree that equitable services were provided • Carryover funds would be for the entire Title I program (the LEA Title I resource base for the next year serving public and private students on an equitable basis)

  5. Private Nonprofit Carryover • If equitable services were not provided, and carryover resulted: • The LEA must carryover those funds and use for equitable services to PNPs in addition to next year’s set-aside funds
