  2. What is a Forest Pest Outreach Coordinator? A person who provides information on invasive species of national concern across the state of Illinois.

  3. Asian Longhorned Beetle Survey Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) is a forest pest of concern in Illinois due to the damage and ultimate death this pest causes to host trees. Early detection of ALB is important as infestations can be eradicated or minimized using various control strategies resulting in lower program and management costs.
