  1. Background AERCRETE was developed in the ’80’s. It is a tried and tested design. Full trials have been conducted at SGI, Sweden and TPD as well as the Military Academy, Holland. Various projects have been carried out and documented with very good results, both with regard to price and performance.

  2. Today The AERCRETE system today belongs to AERCRETE which is owned by Christer Appelberg. Various specialists are linked to AERCRETE in: • Chemistry. • Construction technology. • Concrete research. • Machine technology and production technology.

  3. Customers AERCRETE does business with various international customers in: • USA • South America • The Far East • The Middle East • Europe

  4. AERCRETE FC (Foam Concrete) AERCRETE FC consists of: • Cement • Sand • Water • Air • Foam agent Aercell A-7 AERCRETE FC is a light and stable concrete which is both strong and insulating.

  5. AERCRETE FC – The process In order to be able to regulate the density of the finished concrete, foam is added that forms sealed air bubbles in AERCRETE FC. Cement (Portland) Concrete Sand Water AERCRETE FC Water Foam Air Aercell

  6. AERCRETE FC – The process The foam is mixed into the concrete mechanically, no fermentation or autoclaving is employed. This has many advantages: • Mobile casting. • Regulates the density with great precision. • Constant production as no autoclaving is required, makes it easy to produce the right amount and makes building production more efficient.

  7. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3.

  8. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity.

  9. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity. • Does not absorb water, is insulating and frost-resistant.

  10. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity. • Does not absorb water, is insulating and frost-resistant. • Fire-resistant.

  11. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity. • Does not absorb water, is insulating and frost-resistant. • Fire-resistant. • Dampens sound and vibrations.

  12. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity. • Does not absorb water, is insulating and frost-resistant. • Fire-resistant. • Dampens sound and vibrations. • Counteracts subsidence, erosion and landslip.

  13. AERCRETE FC - Properties • Adjustable density 400 – 1800kg/m3. • High bearing capacity. • Does not absorb water, is insulating and frost-resistant. • Fire-resistant. • Dampens sound and vibrations. • Counteracts subsidence, erosion and landslip. • Completely safe for humans and the environment.

  14. AERCRETE FC - Compressivestrength

  15. AERCRETE FC - Thermal conductivity

  16. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for the house • A house can either be built on site in prefabricated moulds or shipped in large building blocks. • When you build a house of AERCRETE FC, no additional insulation is required because of all the air in the concrete. • The surface of the concrete is easy to work into the desired structure. • Drilling and finishing treatment can be done simply with the aid of machines or hand tools.

  17. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for roads AERCRETE FC is the optimum alternative for: • Levelling and load-relieving the ground. • Building road foundations and wearing surfaces.

  18. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for soil • Back filling for pipe laying. • Retaining walls. • Arrangement to prevent erosion. • Embankments. • Sealing of waste.

  19. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for prefabricated products • Wall and roof units

  20. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for prefabricated products • Wall and roof units • Joists

  21. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for prefabricated products • Wall and roof units • Joists • Tiles

  22. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for prefabricated products • Wall and roof units • Joists • Tiles • Wall blocks

  23. AERCRETE FC - Field of application AERCRETE FC for much else • Floating landing stages, floating houses and industries. • Piers • Noise breaks • Pools • Art • Etc. The only limit is your imagination!

  24. AERCRETE FC - Working Surfaces can be worked and structured in the same way as traditional concrete. The finished structure can be worked with both hand tools and machines. You can, for example, saw and cut into ready-hardened AERCRETE FC.

  25. AERCRETE FC - Tests A number of tests have been conducted with very good results by, among others: • TPD (Technisch Physische Dienst) Holland • KMA (Koniklijke Militaire Academie) Holland • SGI (Statens Geotekniska Institut) Sweden • Cementa, Sweden

  26. AERCRETE FC - References City of Malmö Highways Department, Sweden National Road Administration, Sweden House Examples of projects performed: • Road foundations, car parks, soil levelling, filling of pipe trenches, military applications, vaults, underwater work, building blocks for houses, water towers, insulation of roof ceiling joists, factory floors, covering of central refuse disposal plant, test for covering atomic waste, floating landing stages, harbour and pier structures.

  27. Aercell A-7 • Aercell A-7 is used to produce the foam which is added to the concrete mechanically. • Aercell A-7 is a completely unique product which is specially manufactured to meet all the requirements set by the industry. • Aercell A-7 comprises only components that are safe for humans and the environment.

  28. AERCRETE 625 Machine The machine is designed to be able to produce AERCRETE FC constantly with a capacity of up to 25m3/hour.

  29. AERCRETE 625 - Mobility • The machine weighs approx. 3500kg and is connected after, for example, a SUV. • It is approx. 600cm long, 230cm wide, 180cm high and fits into a 20ft container, for example, for shipping.

  30. AERCRETE 625 - Capacity • AERCRETE 625 can produce up to 25m3/hour. • With the aid of the built-in pump, concrete can be pumped up to 200m horizontally and 30m vertically.

  31. AERCRETE 625 - Control system The whole machine is monitored by a computerised control system with the help of which it is possible to: • Raise and lower the support legs which are used to set up the machine hydraulically. • Administer formula for production of AERCRETE FC. • Calibrate the density of concrete and various ballast. • Monitor production and adjust the speed.

  32. AERCRETE 625 - Hand control A wireless hand control helps the operator with the hose to: • Increase or reduce the production speed. • To stop production.

  33. AERCRETE 625 - Cleaning • The machine has a separate cleaning position which gives the operator the opportunity to safely run each function separately with hand controls. • There is a water connection on the machine for cleaning screws and fluxes. • There is also compressed air for cleaning of, among other things, the water filter.

  34. AERCRETE 625 - Logs Every time production is started, a unique batch number is received by the control system. Under this number all the information from casting is saved such as: • Date and time. • Formula and density. • Production speed. • Weights and volumes of all incoming components. • Total volume of concrete that is produced.

  35. AERCRETE 625 – GSM The control system has room for GSM SIM cards. This enables AERCRETE to provide remote support and updates. This also gives the owner the opportunity to limit the length of time for which the machine is used, for example, when leasing or as an anti-theft device.
