  2. Objective • Our Objective was to measure Ozone and UV-c. In order to determine if UV-c is evident prior to the Ozone layer, due to the health applications.

  3. Data Acquired None

  4. Where We Went Wrong • The Data Acquisition Program was not put together in a correct manor. • One of the leads to our 741 Op. Amp. to the channel port was disconnected upon retrieval of the payload, however we know for a fact the lead was connected for take of.

  5. The Program’s Problem • When modifying the program to prevent the overwriting of data if the power was lost and regained, we believe that we may have missed a command or wrote the addition incorrectly. • We know the Data Retrieval program was working properly because the Data Retrieval program was not altered and worked when used for testing.

  6. Lead Connection • The lead wire from the Op. Amp. to the channel 0 slot was disconnected upon retrieval. • However during Pre-flight we made sure that the leads were connected, as part of Pre-flight procedure.

  7. To Fix ProblemProgram Problem • Rewrite the Program and have it tested each time a change is made, we failed to test after changing the program because we felt confident that the program would work. • We would also have the program looked at by a member of another team to proofread for errors.

  8. To Fix ProblemLead Problem • Double check the connection during Pre-flight Procedures. • We could also solder the leads in.

  9. In the Future We would like to see this payload go up again, we may try to fix the problems and retry next year or have the following groups try to do this project. We will also try to look into testing the payload more, as well as securing the board in a more effective manor to prevent Pre-flight, During flight and Post-flight jostling.
