  3. Mid-Semester Trial Run • In the AAC proposal – Oct. 12-Oct. 19 • ‘Getting the kinks out’ • Results available until Oct. 31 and seen only by individual faculty members; then will be deleted

  4. Faculty-added or created questions • Anticipated the question bank (QB) as a service • Modify QB questions • Scales in QB or faculty-created questions • Additional questions – whether from the QB or faculty-created – must be added before SEI is open to students

  5. Faculty Opt Out • Done in MyNewPaltz.edu

  6. Response Rate • A shared responsibility

  7. Faculty • Put on syllabus • Encourage and exhort

  8. OIRP • Popup in MNP • Reminders • Academic calendar • Advertisements • Student governance • Ideas from student leaders

  9. Reports • OIRP twin commitment • Students will not know their grades when they respond to the SEI • Faculty will not know results of the SEI when they issue grades

  10. Reports • Available when grades submitted – 2:00 p.m. December 27 • 5 is high
