2. Birth of a Leader!!! George Washington was born in Virginia 1732-1788 Feb.22nd. This man learned to be a young gentleman. He also had 2 interests: Military arts and western expansion. At the age of 16 he surveyed the S.lands for Thomas,lord Fairfax.

3. There`s a new SHERRIFF!!!!! • In the 2nd continental congress George Washington was elected the commander and chief of the continental army.

4. A Sad SURPRISE Battle!!!!! • On Christmas day Washington’s army camped at Valley Forge,Pennsylvania. He had trouble with ammo,food,and warm clothing,but Washington’s army crossed the Delaware river.A SURPRISE ATTACK!!!!They attacked the Hessians.The continental army captured 900 Hessians!Also they got the Hessians food,ammo,and there clothing! A surprise win for Washington’s army!

5. A Birth of a Soilder • Joseph Palmer was born in England 1716-1788.He was really 72-years-old when he died.As a child he made glassworks in Germantown.

6. 1 Battle 2 Towns • He fought in the battle of Bunker Hill and Lexington and Concord .In the battle of Bunker Hill J.Palmer had trouble with ammo and reinforcements. Palmer was also a minuteman .

7. A Tough General • J.Palmer was a general who gathered info and did missions in Vermont and Rhode Island .He was a brigadier general . He led a false attack in Newport,Rhode Island .

8. Bad , Good!!!! • After the battles he was on heavy debt . He stared a new factory in his home in Dorchester, and he also died there.
