How to Apply for College • Select colleges • Choose 6 • 1-2 long shots • 2 very desirables • 2 probables • Request applications (typically online) • Check admission requirements, application deadlines • Start writing practice admission essays NOW • Start arranging letters of recommendation (2 week notice required)

Studentscanafford college! • Financial aid & scholarships may cover a large part of the COA for the students’ school of choice. • Community colleges offer substantial savings on tuition. • Private colleges may provide enough grant and scholarship money to make the cost of attendance equal to or less than the cost of a public institution.

Complete and submit as soon after January 1st as possible, but before March 1st December 3 at 7pm South Medford High School
