  6. Processes • Service Desk is your SPOC for ALL IT-related queries! • What? • Fault reporting (including password resets) • Service Requests & Business Cases • How? • Phone • Service Desk Request Form • When? • Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30

Information Security • We need your help • Don’t save files to the c: drive (use S: or U:) • Lock you computer when unattended (Windows key + L) • Only use encrypted laptops and USB sticks • Only trusted approved mobile devices are allowed on the network • Report Information & IT security Incidents

  8. What is a Security Incident • Anything that could breach Confidentially, Integrity or Availability • Could be a :- • Lost usb stick or remote token • A shared password • A sensitive email sent to wrong person • Patient information sent to the wrong printer or fax • Having a virus

  9. Reporting Security Incidents • You may have reported to the IT Service Desk (e.g. Virus) • However all Information Security Incident should be logged on “Datix” • Available on the Internet Explorer Favourites under Merseycare Links (Datix) • :-Incident Report (IR1)
