And this is the reason every student like you, have a dream to get admission to these USA universities. However, to enter the USA for the purpose of studies, you require something called the Student Visa for the USA. What is a Student Visa for the USA? To attend an institution/education in the United States, belonging to countries in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) will need a permit to enroll in courses involving credits & degrees. For academic & language types of studies, you will need an F1 type, and for vocational and non-academic studies, you require an M1. To apply for a US student visa, as per the M1/ F1 Visa requirements, following steps you need to go through, ● Obtain the I20 form by applying to an institution that has a SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) ● After acceptance of your I20 form application by the school/college/university. They will register you in SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) ● Then You will have to pay the SEVIS I-901 fees ● After payment confirmation, the institution will issue you with an I20 form

  2. The I20 form is one of the most important documents you require for the US student visa and is also known as the Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status. Once you have this, you can proceed to your visa application as follows - ● Ensure that you have all the documents required for your US student visa. ● Create an account on the US CEAC (Consular Electronic Application Center) website. ● Select the DS-160 form which is the student visa form for the USA. Proceed to fill this online. Make note of the barcode number you get. ● Pay the fees for the application online. Note your receipt number. Book your appointments. You will need to book 2​ndappointments. The 1​stone for biometric ● submission at a VAC. The 2​nd​ one is for the interview at the American Embassy/Consulate. ● Attend the VAC appointment with your passport, DS-160 form, and appointment confirmation page. You will be subjected to a fingerprint scan, and your digital photo will be taken at VAC. For 2​ndappointment, Visit the US embassy/consulate for the interview along with the passport, ● stamped DS-160 page, and appointment confirmation page.
