  3. Practical arrangements The Seminar on Wireless Future (SWF2009) will provide a forum for the students to practice preparing and presenting a paper in a scientific or engineering conference. The students will prepare an abstract and a manuscript on a selected subject related to the wireless and ubiquitous technologies and present it on the agreed date. In addition they will act as an opponent of one presentation. A written self-evaluation and opponent’s advisory evaluation will accomplish the seminar. The manuscript may be a review or a survey or presentation of original (own) r&d results on areas like • Ubiquitous architectures, systems and applications • Wearable computing and personal area networks • Security and privacy in sensor networks and ubiquitous systems • Security and privacy in RFID T863403 Jyrki Laitinen

  4. Practical arrangements • Wearable computing and personal area networks • Wireless Internet access in ubiquitous systems • Wireless sensor network protocols • Vehicular ad hoc wireless networks • Wireless sensor networks in health-care • Future trends in sensor network and ubiquitous technologies.
