  2. How do Students Access the KUMC? Log in to the Kaplan homepage, click “My Studies,” then “Writing and Math Centers.” MATH CENTER

What resources are in the KUMC? • Math Tutor: Live tutoring by Kaplan professors • Project Review Service: Submit projects and receive feedback within 24 hours* • Q&A Math Center: Submit questions and receive help within 24 hours* • Math Modules: Examples and step by step help for different math concepts • Math Symbols and Tables: Look here for help writing math in Word documents and for valuable tables • Math Monday Workshops: Workshops on different math topics MATH CENTER

When is the KUMC Available to Students? • Q & A & • Project Review • Live Tutoring Sunday: 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight) Monday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Tuesday: 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM (extended hours starting 5/12/10) Wednesday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Thursday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Students may submit project and questions 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Tutors will respond to email questions within 24 hours during the week and within 48 hours on the weekend. Email to: kumc@kaplan.edu MATH CENTER

  6. Project Review Service!!! Students in KU 122 can email their completed math projects to KUMC@kaplan.edu for a math tutor to review. KUMC tutors will make comments and suggestions on student’s work. In addition, the KUMC tutor will provide example problems where needed. MATH CENTER

  7. What can the KUMC NOT do? Answer your project problems or correct your project submissions. Access MML assignments or reset them Work through exact questions if it is unknown whether the problem is part of a graded assessment MATH CENTER

  8. What can the KUMC do? Answer questions about how to work through a topic Reference a problem in the text book and help you solve similar problems Work through problems within the chapters of a textbook to help you see how they are done Provide questions for you to answer to be sure you understand a topic MATH CENTER
