  5. Idea and context NewMat project concerns the implementation of new materialsfor enhancement of the existing- and introduction of innovative technologies of energy production. New materials with improved properties will increase performance and efficiency of clean energy production, but also contribute to cost savings. NewMat offers complex multi-disciplinary research, technology and education based on horizontal- and visionary concepts to solve the materials’ problems defined by industry. The expected outcomes include new products launched to the market and new business creation. Finally, the plan for the future business exploitation the results will be developed.
