  4. In your notes, write y = x and sketch the below graph This is the "parent function"

  5. Next change the equation to y = -2x + 4 and sketch the below graph

  6. What if we change the slope to _______? What if we change the y-intercept to _______? Notice the form is always y= mx + b

  7. Practice these... (do odd problems on your notes paper)
