  2. The Issue • There is a lack of communication between students who use the bus and those who are in charge of it. • There are common issues in the system that go unnoticed because of this lack of communication.

  3. The Practical Goal • To convince Mike Uryasz, VP of the SGA, that current information gathering methods are flawed and should be replaced with more effective techniques.

  4. Audience • SGA External VP – Mike Uryasz • Mike Uryasz is the chairman of the Transportation Advisory Fee Committee, which oversees the entire TTU bussing system.

  5. Document Design • Intro: Explains importance of effective information gathering and statistical analysis. • Proposed problem: Identifies that current methods used by the SGA are flawed. • Proposed Plan: Includes research on improved information gathering techniques and ways to implement them into the current bussing system. • Appendix: Cites all research used within the report.

  6. Design & Writing Challenges • Narrowing our report focus • Organizing our proposal • Assign tasks and deadlines to group members • Organize and implement research in a informative and appealing manner • Simplifying our practical goal • From explaining several problems students face to gathering feedback from those who take the bus
