CHANGES TO THE AIS RTO SCOPE OF DELIVERY Rollovers & Additions to scope for 2014: • Certificate III in Tourism • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education • Certificate II in Hospitality / Kitchen Operation Planned additions for 2015 • Certificate III in Fitness • Certificate III in Live Production and Services

  7. Funding to schools • Funding in 2014 for school delivery has increased to $200 per student • Schools will be funded on 2014 eBOS entries. Funding will be paid when school completes; • eBOS Entries (11th April) • AIS RTO school self-assessment (11th April) • Training and Assessment Strategies (14th March) • Industry Curriculum Information Guide (ICIG) (11th April)

  8. AIS RTO Re-registration with ASQA • Audits are usually conducted via a site visit to the RTO head office, although desk-based audits are conducted from time to time. The audit may include a visit to school delivery sites. • Approximately 10-20 days before the audit date, the lead auditor will contact the RTO to: • confirm the audit date/s and commencement time • advise the name of other auditors in the audit team and/or technical advisers (if relevant) • notify the scope of the audit – the qualifications and/or courses to be sampled and sites to be visited, and • request the submission of pre-audit evidence/information

  9. AIS RTO Re-registration with ASQA At school delivery sites the audit team is likely to look at; • Training and assessment strategies • Learning and assessment materials • Facilities • Completed student assessment tasks for the qualifications ASQA may decide to audit
