  5. Group Quarters • Group quarters are included in the 2006 ACS • Data are collected for two classifications of group quarters: • Institutional • Non-institutional

  6. Group Quarters • Total population in tables when appropriate • GQ profiles for selected characteristics for the nation

  7. What is currently available? • All data table shells are now available • through the FTP site: • http://www2.census.gov/acs/downloads/shells/2006/

  8. What will be available during the embargo period? • All data tables will be available through the FTP site • Data tables will be available for download as: Summary files and data tables for individual geographies. 8
