  2. How the Supply Chain Management Program was Developed • We were encouraged by several key industry leaders from across Nebraska to develop our Supply Chain Management program. • SCM has been identified by the State of Nebraska as a key strategic industry cluster. • The NU Foundation provided initial support for the program. • The extensive internship component of our program is a defining characteristic which will allow our graduates to add value from day one on the job.  Mission of the CBT The College of Business & Technology serves Nebraska and the surrounding region by preparing students to compete in dynamic professional environments and promoting academic, social and economic development. Internships “Experiential learning is an important piece of the total education in the College of Business & Technology as students can apply their learning to actual real-world experiences.” Janice Woods, Director of Business Internships & Experiential Learning
