    1. Concept-Based Instruction and Curriculum A Conference Presented By Rosana Elyasian National University

Purpose of Study: The purpose of this project is to examine the experts’ scholarly written literature and research done on the outcomes and components and application of effective concept-based instruction and curriculum to present an educational conference for my fellow colleagues and educators. While considering the principal of accountability and relevancy, an effective integrated concept-based instruction provide students with ability to see the patterns and connections of knowledge at a evasive and transferable level of understanding. In units organized around a relevant theme with conceptual focus, whether intradisciplinary or interdisciplinary, lead to the integration of thinking by allowing the learners integrate factual and conceptual thinking, bridging clearly from facts to the big ideas, and arriving at a celebrated idea-based mind-shift. As a professional development workshop, this presentation is provided for k-12 school teachers and administrators to become familiarized with the outcome and process involved in implementing this revolutionary and necessary approach. The Intended Audience This professional development conference offers the results of my research on concept-based instruction to my colleagues and school administrator. The intention of this project is to discuss the outcomes, components, and process of implementing effective concept-based instruction and curriculum to develop an inspiring and educational conference Presentation for my fellow colleagues and educators.
