  3. Team Notification • Sign up for XC notifications: • Send text to (317)708-4097 • or send email to: cc20@mail.remind101.com

  4. Team Operations • Work expectations • Attendance – precedence over other activities (two absence limit) • *Integrity* • Timely pickups – at CPMS Door 2W • Practice Monday – Friday ends 4:30 • October 3, 4, 7, 8 (Top Ten) ends 4:00 • Dress code • Wellness – Physicals due before participating.

  5. Calendar Review “Top ten” practices: 10/3. All runners are invited, but only those students are required. Only Top 7 will be running in the last two events but we want top ten to cover any sickness/injuries

  6. Race Expectations • Prove readiness(11:00-minute mile) and coaches discretion. Qualify for away meets. • Focus/preparation on race days • Sportsmanship • Work toward PRs and “top ten.” • We collectively represent the Warrior Way.

  7. Balancing Act Cross country is great, but SCHOOL always comes first! Study tables include Wednesday early release periods.

  8. Odds & Ends • Jerseys will be signed out only for varsity. • Suitable shoes, solid blue shorts, Team shirt can be worn under jersey • Watches & water bottles • Written permission for away meet transportation

  9. Thankful for volunteers! • Snacks & drinks for each meet • Timers & placement workers for each home meet

  10. And the award goes to… • Hardest Worker • Mental Attitude • Most Improved • Personal record bandannas (5 PRs)

  11. Communication is key. • Email available on school site. • Watch for update notes. These are distributed often. • Please let us know if there are specific needs or concerns regarding your student.
