  3. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Romans 12:2

  4. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.Philippians 1:9-10

  7. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Discerning the difference between faith and foolishness • The importance of living a Christ centred life! • Romans 12:2 & Philippians 1:9-10 • Peter heard Jesus after he’d asked him a question – v28 • James 4:2; Matthew 7:7-8 & 7:9-10 • Look at the way God made you! • What do I enjoy doing? • What am I good at? • What am I interested in? • Will this job/ministry etc fit my character? • Will with thing honour the Lord? • Will it assist my relationship with him? • What impact will it have on my family? • What impact will it have on my ability to serve the church? • Listen to other people! Romans 12:3; Proverbs 27:6
