VOLUNTEER/STUDENT DECLARATION requires more personal data from the volunteer/student.

100 Points ID is recommended but not mandatory.

CCYP undertaking targeted audits to make sure the volunteer/student has signed the declaration truthfully.

Auditing of these declarations is now a part of the Commission’s new role.

CCYP will audit a few thousand Declarations each year.

Audits only possible if we can verify signatory's ID and there is sufficient data to do a criminal records check.

REVIEWED GUIDELINES

Relevant employment proceedings notification and summary form

Form that assist employers in determining what matters to report to CCYP.

Employers don’t need to determine the category of notification anymore: only to provide the required information to the Commission.

Employers get more guidance on what is reportable, and on what information they need to provide to make a notification.
